Asif Haque, Samartha Prusty and Krishan Prusty reigned supreme in the 20th YGTTA Odisha Open Table Tennis Tournament, winning seven out of 10 titles at Barabati Stadium here today. Cuttack paddler Asif clinched a treble, retaining junior and youth boys crowns and adding to it the men singles title.
Bhubaneswar siblings Samartha and his younger brother Krishan bagged a double each with the former retaining titles in junior girls and women singles and the latter emerging champion in cadet and sub-junior boys singles. The remaining three were claimed by Payal Pani in cadet girls singles, Anjali Agrawal in sub-junior girls singles and the duo of K Kartik and SS Bhuyan in junior boys` doubles.
Odisha State Table Tennis Association president Debi Prasad Bagchi gave away the trophies in the presence of OSSTA secretary R K Parida, host Young Generation Table Tennis Association president GC Bose and organising secretary Nihar Ranjan Mishra.

Cadet girls` singles: Payal Pani (Khurda) bt Deesha Mishra (Khurda) 3-0 (11-2, 11-3, 11-3). Cadet boys` singles: Krishan Prusty (Bhubaneswar) bt B Raju (Cuttack) 3-0 (11-8, 11-9, 11-8). Sub-junior girls` singles: Anjali Agrawal (Bhubaneswar) bt Tithi Prakash Dalai (Bhubaneswar) 4-0 (11-8, 11-4, 11-1, 11-9). Sub-junior boys` singles: Krishan Prusty bt Satya Sundar Bhuyan (Khurdha) 4-2 (11-9, 11-9, 11-5, 11-13, 13-15, 11-5). Junior girls` singles: Samartha Prusty (Bhubaneswar) bt Anjali Agrawal 4-0 (11-5, 11-9, 11-5, 11-4). Junior boys` singles: Asif Haque (Cuttack) bt Bikash Singh (RSP) 4-1 (13-11, 3-11, 11-9, 12-10, 11-5). Junior boys` doubles: K Kartik- SS Bhuyan (Cuttack-Khurdha) bt Janmenjay Moharana-Abhilash Singh (RSP) 3-0. Youth boys` singles: Asif Haque bt Bikash Singh 4-0 (11-9, 11-5, 11-4, 11-7). Women`s singles: Samartha Prusty bt Soumya Gayatri Tripathy (Khurda) in the round robin league. Men`s singles: Asif Haque bt Tousif Haque (East Coast Railway) 4-3 (11-9, 11-9, 6-11, 11-9, 5-11, 6-11, 11-3).
